For your various requirements, CLGR® can offer a variety of trawling hooks, such as G-shaped and DV type, and we have stainless steel 304/316, grade 80/grade 100, snap hooks and so on. As a specialized hook manufacturer, we provide options for architecture, rigging, fishing and trawling, and maritime applications.
G80 hooks are forged from high-strength, high-toughness special alloy steel.
After forging, they go through quenching and tempering heat treatment: quenching boosts the steel's hardness and strength significantly, while tempering relieves internal stress from quenching. This gives the hooks great toughness and effectively prevents safety accidents caused by brittle fracture during use.
Compared to regular steel, this specially treated alloy steel maintains structural integrity better under heavy tensile forces and impact loads.
(1) Clean and prevent rust: Wipe off oil, dirt and moisture from the surface with a dry cloth after each use, especially in humid or outdoor environments. If exposed to seawater or chemicals, rinse thoroughly with fresh water, dry it, and apply a thin layer of anti-rust oil regularly.
(2) Inspect for wear: Check the hook body for cracks or deformation, and ensure the safety latch/self-locking device works smoothly before each use.
(3) Store properly: Avoid outdoor stacking or mixing with acidic, alkaline, or sharp objects. Hang it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
(4) Avoid misuse: Never overload the hook or lift at an angle.
