Certified to U.S. Federal Specification RR-C-271F Type IVA, Grade B, Class 2 (G-209), the CLGR® rated stainless steel shackles—also known as bow shackles—are engineered for superior performance in marine and high-humidity applications.
Crafted from premium AISI 316 or 304 stainless steel through free forging and stamping, these rated stainless steel shackles feature an oversized screw pin design that enables quick, secure connections for temporary, repeated, or rapid assembly and disassembly scenarios.
The rated stainless steel shackles' large rounded bow shape accommodates multi-directional loads with minimal side stress, making them ideal for use with multi-leg slings, load rings, and wide straps.
Finished with high polishing or electrophoretic coating for enhanced corrosion resistance, this type of rated stainless steel shackles excels in harsh environments including offshore and industrial rigging.
Each unit of the rated stainless steel shackles is clearly marked with its Working Load Limit (permanently displayed) and imperial size specifications.
