The Spek anchor is a modern stockless anchor designed as an enhanced version of the Hall anchor, featuring a lower center of gravity. Its key structural improvement lies in the centralized positioning of the anchor head's core along the pin centerline, extending downward to the base.

Distinctive design elements include an anchor crown plate and reinforced ribs at the crown, ensuring robust construction. The flukes are engineered to pivot effortlessly upon seabed contact, enhancing stability and holding performance.

Additionally, the Spek anchor is shaped to fit seamlessly into anchor pockets, with its flukes naturally oriented upward. Upon deployment, the flukes swiftly rotate away from the hull plate upon impact, preventing damage to the vessel's shell plating.

In recent years, the Spek anchor has gained widespread adoption as a preferred stockless anchor for newly constructed vessels.

It is available in a broad range of sizes, from 100 kg to 26,000 kg, catering to diverse maritime applications.
