A lightweight anchor refers to a variation of the traditional Danforth anchor that is specifically designed to be lighter in weight compared to standard models.

The lightweight anchor or LWT anchor is a superior holding power anchor (SHP) and can be up to 25% lighter than a standard anchor. The lightweight Danforth anchor, also known as a LWT Anchor, Danforth anchor or a Stato anchor, is renowned for its excellent holding power in a variety of seabed conditions.

This anchor is easily recognizable due to the large pivoting fluke areas and the stock being mounted at the crown of the anchor. The anchor is of high quality and good stability.

The weight range of our light-weight anchors varies widely, from 14 kg to 20,000 kg, showcasing excellent versatility. Designed with enlarged flukes, they ensure swift and secure insertion into sandy or muddy bottoms.
