The Malleable Wire Rope Clips, commonly called Steel Cable Clamps or Wire Rope Grips.

When installing wire rope clips, the first clip must be positioned directly after the thimble - or at a distance equal to twice the thimble diameter when using round thimbles. In any case the bow of the clip has to be on the unloaded part of the wire rope. Subsequent clips should be spaced at intervals no less than the width of the clip itself.

The required number of clips varies by rope diameter: three for 3-7mm, four for 8-19mm, five for 22-26mm, and six for 30-40mm ropes. These malleable clips serve as reliable alternatives where permanent crimping isn't feasible, with each unit clearly marked for size identification on the bridge exterior.

For optimal performance and safety:

• Tighten all nuts to specified torque values initially.

• Conduct mandatory re-tightening after the first load application.

• Verify the clip body remains on the active load-bearing section.

• Maintain proper spacing between all installed clips.
