The number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each of these outer strands. so for a 6x37 class, the number of outer strands is 6, and the number of wires making up each strand can range from 27-49.

The 6x37 configuration offers higher flexibility and better fatigue-resistance (it can bend repeatedly without breaking) than the 6x19; however, it is less abrasion-resistant.

The lay direction of the ropes can be right hand or left hand.

Suitable for numerous industries, including construction, marine, and general-purpose applications, due to its durability and flexibility.
