CLGR® Bottom Trawl Doors Sea Dweller, also known as Oval bottom trawl doors, Viking bottom trawldoors.

This trawldoor is built for bottom fishing. It is designed to stay firmly on the seabed. It does not fly in the water. It bites into mud, sand, and rocky ground to keep the net wide open where the bottom fish live.

The Sea Dweller features a heavy, oval-shaped steel body. This flat, solid profile increases the door's weight. It allows the net to drag smoothly across the seabed without lifting up.

It is extremely durable. The heavy steel construction resists strong impacts from rocks and hard seabeds. The reinforced bottom edges can be replaced or welded easily when they wear down. This keeps your maintenance costs low and the doors working longer.

This door is ideal for traditional bottom trawling. It targets groundfish species such as cod, flatfish, and haddock. You can rely on it for day-to-day commercial fishing in tough coastal and offshore grounds.
