CLGR® can provide a wide range of stainless steel hasps for your different needs, such as marine anti rattle latch, swivel hasp and so on. They are frequently used in deck and yacht, architecture, and marine applications.
A stainless steel hasp is a durable, corrosion-resistant hardware component designed to secure doors, lids, cabinets, boxes, or enclosures. It consists of two main parts that work together to fasten and (often) lock items in place:
A hinged metal strap (the "hasp body"): Attached to one surface (e.g., a cabinet door), this flexible strap features a slotted end or opening.
A fixed catch or staple: Mounted on the opposing surface (e.g., the cabinet frame), it receives the slotted end of the hasp. When closed, the strap wraps over the catch, and a padlock, pin, or bolt can be inserted through the slot to lock the assembly.
